PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Interactive Frontiers, Inc., a leader in the development of sports training software and creator of the V1 Pro Digital Coaching System, introduced the V1-8CAM at the grand opening of Cool Clubs, a custom club and putter fitting center located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Cool Clubs founder Mark Timms selected Interactive Frontiers to develop the V1-8CAM for his state-of the art club fitting centers. The V1-8CAM simultaneously captures eight angles of video streams allowing Cool Club fitters to more precisely evaluate performance and determine optimal club and putter specifications for clients. "The V1-8CAM allows us to see all relevant angles of our clients' putting strokes so we can accurately match each person's putting style with the most advantageous putter measurements" said Timms.
Interactive Frontiers built the V1-8CAM using the Dell Precision 490 workstation, the newest generation of Dell workstations, and is powered by Intel™ Quad Core Technology, using four processors in one computer. The company is also introducing a less expensive V1-4CAM for club fitters, golf instructors and golf academies seeking up to four camera streaming video capture. Initial pricing for the V1-4CAM is $8495 and $11,495 for the V1-8CAM. Each system includes free software upgrades and three year technical support.
